Vote YES on Measure E The Mountain View City Council voted unanimously to place this measure on the ballot. Measure E will modernize the Mountain View City Charter. As indicated in the City Attorney's impartial analysis, Measure E will correct typographical errors, update outdated terminology, improve consistency, and revise provisions to reflect current state law and City practices. Measure E also corrects references to the Mountain View City Code, improves City Council meeting efficiency, extends the period to fill a vacancy on the Council from 30 days to 60 days, and retains existing membership requirements for boards and commissions established by the Charter. Please join the Mountain View City Council, the League of Women Voters of the Los Altos- Mountain View Area, and neighborhood and community leaders in voting YES on Measure E!
